Toadstool shampoo and conditioner -- has anyone tried these?

I was really interested in trying these out, but unfortunately they don't deliver to Finland.

Then again, I do have a 5 liter canister of shampoo waiting for me, and that won't store forever, since it's a very natural product, so I guess I should not stock any more shampoos for now.

You will need to lather twice. Even then, I wouldn't 100% guarantee it. My suggestion would be to CWC: slather on a cheapo conditioner and rinse it out, shampoo with Toadstool and finally use Toadstool leave-in.

It's hard to believe I started this thread in 2010!

I cut my hair to a short bob several years ago and want to grow it out. I have no patience for the process of growing out short hair. So, I decided to make a little "investment" by ordering some Toadstool.

I haven't used these products regularly for quite a while. I just reread my posts from the 27 pages of this thread. Toadstool shampoo and leave-in conditioner are my HG products. It's time for me to go back to them.

Is anyone still using Toadstool?

It looks like most of the shampoos have olive oil, which is usually too heavy for my hair. Do you have experience with the olive oil being an issue with your hair?

I can't put olive oil on my hair, which is baby fine (1a). It would weigh it down.

The olive oil in Toadstool shampoo is saponified (turned into soap). So it no longer has the same properties.

That's great news! It's a little pricey for me at the moment but it's on my radar.

How did you come by a 5l can of shampoo and how do you expect to use it up?

sounds like a 5 year project
