While on the topic...do you have any ideas for how to add pearls to hair? I have tried before and have not been terribly successful. I'm thinking long strands of small freshwater pearls might be easier, but what about slightly larger pearls, like you often see in Renaissance paintings?
I've never experimented with pearls in my hair, so the only thing that comes to mind right now is pearls in decorative pins or strings of pearls, paranda style...Would like to know more about decorating hair with pearls/gems as well !

Next time I go to a crafts or beads store, I'll see about picking up a few strings of pearls or something else pretty like that, maybe together with metalic thread, and then try out some hairstyles... It'll be my next hair project.
