Oops, forgot about the picture! Aw, thank you Legeia Noire. Yours has been an inspiration for me.

Here it is, it's a bit hard to gauge the length in this picture since the skirt is longer than knee.

That's gorgeous, Decoy. Also I think your hair color is so pretty!

Yea, that is very drool worthy. Seriously incredible and such a stunning color.

Thank you all very much . Knee length snuck up on me multiple times over the past 6 months or so. I've been so busy for the past couple years that I feel back into benign neglect with my hair. I brushed/combed once every few days much of the time and would go 1+ week without washing it at a time. I have kept it in a bun nearly every day and kinda forgot it existed.

I only have maybe 4 inches of thinned ends/layers left, maybe a bit more I'm not sure. At the time I had my hair layered last it was waist length and I had face framing short layers all the way down and I think I've cut back at least half since then. I think I'll continue doing good sized trims every 2-6 months like I have been and maybe see what my terminal length is. I found out last year that my great grandmother had my exact hair colour and texture and she had hair past floor length, thick all the way down.

I have a question for all the kneelength and beyond ladies....

With these lengths, Do you notice the weight of your bun getting heavier?
I was wondering if this was a fable or true: "Wearing a bun every day can make your hairline recede."

I have the feeling my buns get heavier and pull on my hairline lately.
So now I am afraid it will actually recede my hairline.
Maybe I just have a sensitive scalp all of a sudden??
Do you notice anything from wearing your hair in a bun all day every day?

My hair is up every day....for years now.
    Only down (braid) at night.
I think I will change it up and wear a braid down or a ponytail more often....
