eresh everyone has had such beautiful things to say to you about your loss. I don't think I can even match their Sweetness. I have also lost a pet or two. My most devastating one was my sheltie/bestfriend during my single adult years. It was just her and me. I did cut my hair then too. Just now, I recently cut about three inches which was huge for me. My hair was growing unevenly and I hated how it looked from the back. I'm sad (to lose the length)but feel better overall. Maybe this will help? Maybe it's just reactionary to your loss? Just know how much we feel for you and that we support any decision you make. Your hair is very beautiful btw...

Thank you everyone for your kind and caring words!
I cut 2 cm, so just a little, only the very thin ends.
I will see how I feel in november about cutting a little more.
I am babying my hair now with bananamasks and such.
    It helps a bit :-)

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better about your hair. It's never wise to do anything major to it when under emotional duress.

Tomorrow they are going to draw blood and check for a few things.
Among others, vitamin levels and thyroid.

I did a wet hair length check in the shower today and noticed that when I tilt my head it was reaching below my knee! At the start of the summer, I did the same check and it was mid-knee. Summer is my growth spurt season time and time again it was so cool to see that
