    Short layers and bleach.

Bleach. It takes a year or more for my hair to recover from just one session.

Bangs, They were always greasy and never laid right. I'm over a year into growing them out and they're JUST NOW long enough to tuck behind my ears if I'm lucky but they like to flip out and do unflattering things still. Errg I'll be glad when they're at least shoulder so they're more like a short layer

DIY ombre bright pink Manic Panic. I knew after I went from dark brown to level 8 it was a bad idea.

Going to a salon and trusting a random person for a trim.

I had decided to go in for a cut and style at a random salon before a school dance yeaaaars ago. My hair was almost to my butt and I asked for some face-framing layers and a few inches off the length. I have no idea what was lost in translation but the stylist gathered my hair and cut all of it off before I could say a word. All of it. I was left with a pixie cut and people actually cried for me when they saw how traumatized I was that my hair was gone. Ever since then I've have to use the buddy system when I go to a hair salon, with someone watching over what I can't see.

Bleached, after getting bored with it I decided to cover it up but it didn't go well so in the end I just shaved it off.

Letting someone give me a trim not knowing they were a "scissor happy" kind of person!

Constantly perming - I never grew long because I always had to cut off the dead ends after a perm - usually two or three inches, and then six months later I'd be back at it again in my desperate search for perfect curls. I can't believe how much simpler my life is now. And it only took me thirty years to figure that out! What can I say, I'm a slow learner

Coloring and bleaching my hair is the worst hair decision. It was always cut or shaved off afterwards due to the damage.
