I bleached my hair and then did henna. It was really vibrant! I covered it up with dye a few months later and a boy from my college told me never to do it again because I "looked like a tomato." I acknowledge that it wasn't the best look, but I had fun and I refuse to regret it

My worse hair decision was deciding that I needed to trim 1 cm off a couple of weeks ago, and I really didn't need it. Now, I'm regretting it! My ends were just fine. But something told me that I needed a small trim. Even my mother was very nice enough to tell me that I didn't even need a trim. So, I am not going to trim anymore hair off until next year, and that's only if I really need it. Which I doubt it that I will need it. If I don't need it I will most definitely keep the scissors away from it.

Pushing my trims shorter and shorter every time and ending up with a bob. Basically once I started I wanted to see where I will reach the length that I wouldn't like on myself.
    I found it.
    It's a bob. 🙄

Oh this is a great thread. So entertaining

I had hip/tb length hair since childhood. When I was 14, the whole emo phase became a thing with myself and my peers. I had one friend who wanted to be a hairdresser (she is actually an amazing one today) and I allowed her to layer my hair for me. I literally looked like Joe Dirt and after a day I cut it to my shoulders. I didn't mind too much, but looking back it was definitely the worst! *laughs*

A very slick, angular bob cut.
Sadly, I didn't consider the tremendous upkeep needed with my wavy, fluffy hair.

My worst hair decision! I was pretty young, maybe 6, and decided that I wanted to curl my hair. My hair had never been curled so I had no idea what I was doing. I got a narrow-toothed comb and partway through combing my very-long-for-my-age hair, I twisted my hair tightly back around the comb multiple times and spun it up to my scalp. Then I tried to undo it to see the curl... and it wouldn't come out! I was quite independent and didn't say a word to my mom about it - just cut the comb right out, along with a good chunk of my hair! Luckily, I have decently thick hair so my mom was able to hide it somehow. She used to do my hair in a French braid every single day before school, so it didn't turn out to be a huge problem... but that was definitely the worst hair decision I've ever made.

Bleaching my hair 4x and using a razor comb to cut 2 inch layers

Using Color Oops. Never again. It took 2 years of monthly trims to finally get past the damage and be able to start over.

End of Year 11 at school and was about to go to Germany for 6 weeks before I started my last year of school. Decided I needed a no hassle haircut that would allow my thick hair to dry quicker. Explained this to the hairdresser and specified that I didn’t want to take dryer or hair products.

Ended up with the mullet from hell with instructions that I had to mousse and gel my hair and use a circular brush to blow dry my fringe to get it to look right. Ugh! I can’t stand to look at photos of myself from that trip.

Any wonder I have hairdresser phobia.
Letting my hair do whatever it wants to do!
