Bangs. All through my childhood up until highschool I was pressured by stylists and my parents to have bangs. I have a cowlick right in the middle of my front hairline. So, without a massive amount of work, my bangs would part right down the middle. Even with work, it would by the end of the day. Ugh.
I said layers. About 11 years ago I spazzed out of my mind and wanted Jennifer Anniston layers. Stupid stupid stupid. It was horrible. I suppose it could have been just a bad layered cut. It was so much more work than my longer, one length hair. It took me about 3 years to get back fairly decent one length mid back hair. The other awful thing were 2 perms in the 80s. They completely fried and messed up my hair. But back then everyone had fried permed hair so I looked like everyone else. I've never tried henna but I'm sure if I had, that would have been my biggest disaster.
I am not here to decorate your world
Perming it and then striaghtening it to get rid of the curls!! Now im stuck with frizzy hair!!
- Chin - Shoulder - Collarbone - midway between SL and APL - APL when my arms are lifted up! - APL - BSL -
Dyed it black with semi-permanent dye which didn't wash out. So when I had about 2 inches of roots, I decided that I wanted to get rid of it and go back to my normal color. So I went to the salon where she tried to bleach just the black hair. Of course, some got on my new growth and lightened that. It also didn't lighten the length evenly. Then she tried to dye over the too light spots. The end result was that my hair literally had spots on it.
deffinatly cut and colour was aweful.
2inches with mid neck in the front was an aweful change from BSL length when i was 15. then to pixi at 16 and short again at 17 until i started growing it out last august.
colour wrecked me this last year though when i went crazy with colour because i got a discount on it from work. ( it was terrible.)
anyways henna is <3 for my hair and i've always had layers even when my hair was longer and i could always do up do's just fine.
I voted for "cut" and "other" which is, in my case heat straightening for more than a year every 3 day. After few weeks I couldn't imagine myself in not-straightened hair so I had to do it over and over, after EVERY wash.
Coloring was the worst. It made my hair very fragile and demaged.
The worst decision I ever made was to bleach over indigo. My hair literally melted off and I had to hair this really, really short choppy cut. But in a way it was a blessing because I found LHC!
I vote perm...and did it twice! both times i cut my hair to get ride of it, think i had a memory laps of some kind lol
