LOVE your buns Venefica!!!! Wow! I've never figured out the chinese bun, if anyone has a good tutorial I'd appreciate it! The ones I've tried haven't been helpful.

I don't know what you'd call this (feel free to come up with a name), but it's like a curved dutch braid bun.

Thank you for the compliment The Chinese bun is not difficult, basically you either braid your hair or make two ponytails, then you show a stick in there and cross the two strands of hair over and under that stick until you run out of length, then you either pin the ends in place or join them together with a hair tie and hide them under the bun.

Here is a few good tutorials and if you do not figure it out from that just tell me what steps are a problem and I will try to make a tutorial for you, though since I have never done something like that before it might be a not to good one, I can try, however these fine ladies here do make good tutorials so I recommend them:

Also if you make the bun with one ponytail that you later split into two the bun with be more round and if you use two ponytails then it will be more flat.
