Beautiful. I like the illusion of one stick. There is actually a shop on Etsy which is offering sticks with ends to remove on one side, that it looks like this - from silver with precious stones on the ends but a bit smaller than yours. Your braided bun with that comb is also an eye-catcher.
I have made a Nicky Bun with two icicles of glass for christmas tree decoration.
They are 19 cm (7 1/2 Inches) long and thus perfect for me as hair sticks. And each icicle costs app. 2 dollars and a quarter.
That is beautiful, Fornarina! Kind of like a Chinese Bun but uses 2 crossed sticks instead.

I rather like this one. I twisted my shorter top layer into a rope braid, coiled it, and secured with scünci small claw clips. I took the longer section of my hair in an English braid and wrapped it around the rope braid coil, and secured with scünci tiny claw clips. In hindsight, I should have used the tinies on the rope braid and the smalls on the English braid, but it worked as it was and held for most of the day.
Messy 'cause the braid had been in for a while
Wishing you all love, joy, and peace!
I love that bun, LongHairFaerie! The rope braid center gives it a nice spirally look. I'm going to try this on the next couple days, because I needed a new bun and braid inspiration
Oh, I love a good head-eating bun! The braid bumps and coils really make it shine too!
