I wrapped with my hand starting under the ponytail and didn't do any twisting so I guess that's why it looks different, but I don't mind because it's so secure and comfortable.

It looks like I finally have the length for a stable and pretty Figure-8 bun, which I'm pretty excited about. I think it's a very elegant style.

Oh my what an oldie haha. I don't have a particular tutorial, no, but it's just a cinnamon bun with the middle flipped up and secured with hair sticks. I'm sure you could find a tutorial on YouTube easily.
