Wow! You are so beautiful. And that food looks delicious! I personally think you should wait it out and grow your bangs out. You have a great forehead and face shape. I had bangs cut in a while back and they were way too thick because the stylist used too much hair. It did help while growing them out to have them thinned with a razor so they would sit better and not look so blunt.

Since they are so thick a good way to grow them out a bit would be to wither trim them so that the sides are longer than the middle of the fringe, like an upside down 'U' hemline in the fringe and gradually get mor and more parts in the longer bits and keep the actual hair you want in a straight fringe.

The other option is to part it on the side and have a side fringe. It will be a little thick to begin with and lack shape but as it grows you can cut it at more of a slant. << i did this method and i hardly have a fringe now!

One man's opinion: Grow them out.

You have a beautiful face and your bangs hide half of it.

Hey, I agree with the person above me, grow it out! You look beautiful, and your hair hides half of your face... but I also think you should do what makes you happy! So, if you really want that fringe, just a little different from what it is now, go for it!

thanks everyone for your replies. so i should have them thinned out? will they grow faster? i just dont trust the salon people. i dont have a stylist because they never cut my hair how i want it. i dont want to sabotage my hair anymore.

I don't know... hard choice. The bangs are cute and you can pull them off. However, your face is beautiful. You've got a great forehead (envious) and bone structure. If I were you, I would continue to grow them out and play with them as they turn into face framing lengths. Then, you can always go back and cut in less fringe if you decide you miss them.

Me personally? I would not thin them out. If you are going to let them grow, let it grow out thick. It may be a pain-in-the-tush for awhile (wear hats, headbands, clips etc) but I'm betting it will grow faster than you think.
