My hair prefers the sulfate shampoos and Coney conditioners. Not the stuff I tried to introduce it to.

That I'll never be strawberry blonde again (on my head at least, my eyebrows and body hair are the same color they've always been)
This head of hair that grew back from chemo is virgin hair (not color treated or chemically processed in any way)
I like my naturally curly hair (regardless of what color it is, as long as its not gray/white, since it would totally wash me out)
I'll always have to use dandruff shampoo & conditioner
I won't color it again until it goes gray/white (since it would totally wash me out)
I'll be keeping my current color if the above statement ever happens (since going back to my old color would be too much work)
I'll get the occasional frizz if I sleep with my hair wet
That some people will often compliment me on my hair, no matter how short, long or what color it is
I will never get an "old lady" hairstyle no matter how old I get. Screw "age appropriate" hairstyles! My grandmother's mother had long hair until the day she died, and she lived until she was 97!
I'm officially a brunette now (medium brown that looks more golden brown in the sun), not a redhead, and have no intention to get my old strawberry blonde hair back (too much work)
No friend requests, please. I won't accept them

I have come to accept that my hair is very fine and will have thin ends and that's okay. I can still have long hair.

...that my family will step on my hair when it's not in a bun. *frowns* I don't even have to be on the floor! It's like their toes have hair tracking devices!

That's a really good one, and one that I've had to come to terms with. It's hard seeing thick-end long hair, the envy is real

That my hair is super thin and always has been, always will be. Sometimes I see pictures on the internet of a woman with her hair in twin braids, and a single one of her braids is the same thickness as if I put all my hair into a single braid. Cutting it and trying again wouldn't help because I had my hair cut to less than shoulder-length hair on multiple occasions and my hair was still super thin. I'm just stuck with it.

That my hair doesn't twist all in one direction
Some strands spiral clockwise, other counter-clockwise and some are doing the " telephone cable" thing.
And I have tight corkscrews behind the ears
I guess it's time to let my hair do its own thing. I started to style it with different method.
