Long Hairs and Cats...Is There a Connection?

No. The biggest cat lover I know also has the shortest hair of any of my friends. And mine is currently waist length, and I'm a bird person.

I voted that I don't like cats. They're okay. But I'm a dog person and I could never see myself owning a cat.

There very well may be a potential connection. As my cat herself is a longhair.

Maybe longhaired mammals just gravitate towards each other.

I've got 3, two of which I was present for the births of! So cats are very special to me, I relate to them a lot, I'm very good at understanding their body language etc.
As for being a "cat person".... I'm not a fan of the whole cat vs dog dichotomy, I LOVE dogs too. I'm an animal person in general, I even love the weird ones and creepy crawlies.

I'm a long hair and have been for most of my life...i grew up with cats then i used to foster many including pregnant queens.i love all animals but yes i would say i am a cat person who happens to be a long hair. Connection to long hair? hmm maybe!
