Default Please help me with typing my hair

I always thought I was a 2b, and that's what I originally had on my profile, but as my hair care routine has changed (thanks to all the great information here), I'm starting to realize that my hair is much wavier/curlier than I thought. Now I think I'm at least a 2c, and possibly a 3a. Please take a look and tell me what you think. I know the picture isn't very good--I'm still getting used to my new camera and I've never taken pictures in a mirror before--my hair is nowhere near that color!

I think I'll have to go with 3A. Have you combed your hair for this picture?

I combed it right after I washed it, just to detangle, but not after it dried.

I agree with Spidermom. Discovering new curls is always so fun

I imagine if you don't touch it except for possibly combing through conditioner in the shower, you would have much more defined ringlets -- 3A for sure.

My hair is definitely 2C, which is mostly wave but some ringlets. My sig pic is 2-3 days after washing, having combed and bunned more than once. It looks like 1C, doesn't it?

I've really reduced the amount of combing I do, so I think you're right. I can't believe I've been fighting with my hair all these years when I could have just left it alone and had lovely curls. I'll try what you suggested and not comb it except in the shower and see what it looks like.

Wow, you have lots of pretty curls! From your picture, I would say 3a and since it's combed, I bet it's even curlier than that.
