Recently cut from 50" to 32". Happily growing again.
I'm a hairstick addict. I wear them enough that I can sleep with chopsticks in and they stay put. What is that, about 10" FL?
I have a Bass nylon bristle brush that I use a lot. It's very gentle, especially for being ball-tipped. The normal combs get used every now and then...
An occasional sock for Loepsie's bun... (A dead Smartwool got a second lease on life-- It has neon green and red stripes.)
My BBB almost never gets used, and I lost my wide toothed comb.My fingers are in exile.
CLASSIC!

I voted for wide tooth combs, hair bands and hair toys. I don't use any heat tools. I don't use brushes either. But I'm thinking of doing rag curls one day.
I use hair bands, hair toys, material or socks for curls and my fingers for combing and smoothing the hair.
Only a wide tooth comb or my fingers but I am a bit of a hair typs addict!
I clicked 'wide tooth combs' and 'regular combs' both, although all my combs are technically fine-tooth regarding the space between the prongs. But I didn't want to select only "normal combs" because that seems to imply plastic rough/sharp eged combs, and mine are hand-made/smooth horn combs. I need fine-tooth because I have veeery thin hair. Wide-tooth combs do absolutely nothing for me!
No heat tools of any kind, I still own a curling iron but don't use it, just take it out ocassionally to look at it with longing... I really love perfect curls that can only be created artificially... Too bad they are suicide to hair...
BBB, wide and regular (plastic but handmade by Ace, seamless) combs, hair sticks/bands/pins/fork/other adornments, those long foam covered bendy curlers, curlformers, rag curlers. No heat styling of any kind since Christmas Day 2009. My cowlick loves my BBB. It's the only thing that has ever tamed it.
