Ahh yes...retrospective crimping irons, hair spray (and gel)..and mousse.
I gotta admit though,... something within me wishes that someone would again reply by hoping that I was joking, ... just so I could say "no,...It really happened".

I use oil on my ends, mousse across all of my hair, and blowdry on a cold setting. Also a normal hair brush to detangle.

Wide tooth comb, normal tooth comb here. I included wet brush and hair elastics in Other as well as the knee-high nylons you can buy for $0.50 per pair at Walmart. WHAT? I cut the toes off the nylons (the way they are made today, they don't run at all even when cut!) and use the resulting "tubes" to encase my braid. Secured with a half dozen elastic hair ties along the length, my "braid wrap" keeps dust (I used to work at a stable) from adhering to an oiled braid and shields it from the sun which is quite strong where I live. It also prevents my hair from rubbing against the back of my shirt. Idea based upon a tail bag for horses. I also keep the rest of my hair covered most of the time with a buff so perhaps I should include that in Other as well. Since you already know the answer, please don't ask why I keep it only to cover it up.

Wide tooth comb and Wet brush every day. BBB on non-wash days to brush out debris and get it clean. Scrunchies.

Only goody elastics until my hair gets long enough, then all hair toys. Usually my Quatro forks or a plain ol' hair stick
Tangle teezer, sometimes a wide tooth comb.
Never, ever, ever any heat. But my shower water probably is hotter than it should be ><.

Second Goody elastics. I wear 6 or 7 a day. I've never had one break and they typically last me months before they are finally "stetched out". No other brand I've tried has worked as well fro me
