Ahh yes ... fortunately I've found that the braids I like best are somewhat simple, but will require more length to pull off! But you're right about the arm strength. It's a good arm workout!

Arm strength isn’t a problem for me but the technique is. I wish there were some simple braid tutorials instead of ones where people who are slick with braiding do it and make it “look how easy it is” Well it isn’t!

To my recollection ladollyvita33 & ladollyvita333 (both nicks) has a braid-tionary on her channel. If it's still there. It explains the most simple to the most intricate braids.

I believe silvousplaits has a couple of braid tutorials that start from the very basics. You should look up her YouTube channel.

Thank you elise.autumn and CopperButterfly It was actually a fairly simple style to construct, even through the result looked intricate. Lace braids are a lot quicker than dutch or french braids, and can be placed closer to the hairline.

Your Frida braids are stunning CopperButterfly! :O I love the contrast of your red hair with the blue of the scarf! Same for you, Salzdrache!
