First time trying fishtail braids! They were easier than I thought.

Your ends look so cute. Are your curls holding the braid in place or do you have an elastic somewhere?

Thank you! Just my curls! Once I get to the end I generally fingercoil and add a little curl cream or gel and they stay solidly in place.

I'm jealous. My hair would never stay without an elastic.

My hair would never stay with an elastic . Only claw clips hold my braids in place.

I never tried a claw clip to hold the end of a braid! In fact, I cannot find my small claw clips, maybe they broke ages ago? Paulownia that braid is charming! I love the curls at the end, mine is straight as a string.

I've never thought to use small claw clips, but great idea, Paulownia! I have some butterfly ones I'll have to try next time I straighten my hair. Love the French braid, by the way. I think slightly messy on wavy textures always looks great!
