I did a crown braid and used ribbon to tape the braids. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I do want longer hair so that my ends can wrap around and hide more as the end of my braids just aren't very pretty with lots of hair poking out.

That hairstyle is so pretty! I love the addition of the ribbon.

How do you do that? It looks so classical and lovely.

That is the most beautiful crown braid I’ve ever seen. You are exceptionally good at this. Your hair colour is dope. Lol
    Love it.

    Oh my god so pretty!!!!

I've never wanted hair to my hip, but I love this so much I might grow it out just to recreate it
Did you use a specific tutorial or method?

I'm just starting to get into crown braid territory, or whatever it's called when you pin two dutch braids in back. Here's my best version.

Thank you! Your braids are beautiful as well. Dutch braids and their variations are my favorite. I just wish I could do them faster.

For all those who asked, I used Torin Page's practical hair taping tutorial.

Ooooh, so beautiful, CopperButterfly and Laurab!

This reminds me, I need to get back to working on my braiding skills. :S

I'll have to try this updo, it sounds like it would help distribute the weight of my hair better at this length. What type of ribbon is used, and where can you get it?
