One of my cats used to come and sniff along my hairline and my parting after I’d used henna![]()
I'm down to the last of my henna... I need to order more, but OMG the prices. I thought about just giving it up, but oh, I still want it to warm up the nasty ugly ashy cool tone of my hair, if nothing else (but of course I love the red, too). Why are there no toners to give warm tones to hair the way there are to give cool tones (purple shampoos, etc.)? (I think black walnut would maybe do it, based on a strand test I did once for fun, but who wants to fuss with black walnuts...)
Putting it in my signature because I have to say it so often:
Do what works for your hair, not what other people say is "right" or "wrong." If it works for you, it's not wrong. If it doesn't work for you, it's not right.
Psa: while hibiscus powder doesn't do anything for adjusting the results of colouring with henna, it makes a fantastic dry shampoo for hennaed hair!![]()
