    Hmmmm. That is interesting. A lot of heat protection products have silicone, which according to that article are useless.

    Yeah, I thought the silicone thing was surprising too. I'm glad I know not to rely on it alone now though. I remember using Joico's heat protectant a couple of years ago (it was a conditioner-like straightening balm) and my hair always felt more moisturized than using silicones alone.
