Currently WL wear it down less the longer it gets. Usually in a bun (with a chop stick), simple braid, and on rare occasions a french braid. The only time a wear it down is when I go out

Oops, I read the answers backwards and said I usually wear it down, meant to say I usually wear it up.

Knee length and I only wear it down a few times a year. So it's mostly up.

I've worn my hair up almost every day since Classic length.

I guess I read this as up (in an updo or bun) vs down (in a braid, not necessarily "loose").

I wear my hair in a braid pretty much all the time; updos are for special occasions because I haven't the knack of doing them quickly and securely. The ones I know how to do also get in the way when I drive, which used to be quite a bit, so they just haven't been as practical for me. I'm hoping to rebalance that equation though.

My original vote was "My hair is BSL-Classic, and I never/infrequently wear my hair down" - I was around classic length for a long time.
Now I'd change it to "My hair is short-BSL, and I sometimes/often wear my hair down".

I'm just below APL now, but already it's nice to wear up once in a while. It's starting to get caught against chairs, which flattens my fragile waves, and soon it will be coat and scarf season. All summer I was thinking summer was the better "up" season, but now I'm thinking all seasons are good for "up" - summer heat, autumn wind, winter scarves, and spring rains. AND I just discovered I can do an infinity bun! It looks terrible, but it does stay in.

I count braids as "up" because it's not "loose".

Up all the time. I try to switch the method around, like at night I put it in a hair tie and during the day a claw clip. Even when I go into town (rural right now) I keep it up, usually in a messy bun on top of my head. If I ever hit waist length I’m wondering if I’lll still be able to manage that. I’m working on wearing it down more though.

I'm struggling with this so much right now. I've got past BSL (I think I can count it as waist.... but I'm "not measuring" right now LOL) The longer it gets the more I just want it UP, or braids. I count braids as "up" for the most part. I have curls too so that makes it even harder to choose what to do. Plus it seems to do better to get the length right now that protective styles are where it is at. I feel like I've been growing forever, so the protective styles have been helpful lately. Plus if I am truthful I don't like all the product I have to put in to keep the curls happy *shrug*
