I finally evened up my last two layers so that there's JUST 3 cms of difference between them. I will be growing my hair without any trims for at least six months now.

Now that's not really a milestone, I cut off hair, ffs, but I'm finally content with my hair. I could let it grow without any further cutting cause I like the shape now.
I think evening up layers is a good milestone, it can take ages to fix up bad layering

I can now feel the tip of my ponytail hit the upper part of my neck.

When my hair is down it brushes over my arms even in short sleeved tops, it's been years since I've had any length to my hair so I'm pretty excited!

My hair is long enough for a small puppy to reach the ends when I sit down on the floor and he jumps against my back

The tassels of my two plaits tickle the bottom of my elbows while running.

Congrats. And just wait till they're long enough that they wrap inside your elbow and get stuck when you sweat.

Oh no, that sounds rather annoying! Perhaps your best option is to embrace it and just tie off your plait with one of those sweatbands you wear on your wrist?
