I can also relate to that, we hung out with my brother for his birthday earlier this month. Last time he saw me was for his graduation last May, and I was "bald" back then! (Peach fuzz buzz cut lol)

The night before last I just started putting my daughter's hair into a sleep braid. She twirls it around her finger when she's falling asleep and sometimes when I think she is actually asleep and wakes up with a single dread lock. It is now long enough for a sleep braid to prevent this.

My mom hasn't seen me since August and we were FaceTiming while I was getting ready to head out. I wasn't doing my hair or anything but she pointed out that she didn't realize from pictures and such that I now have ’long’ hair. She was so surprised and that made me super happy.

6 days ago I have retained a lot of length! I've grown 6 inches in 6 months! And, I'm now 2 or 3 inches brushing hip length! Yay!!!

Today my SO will help me with the length measurement and I am excited because I am quite sure I am at the "longest length" I have ever had, that was a little less then 33 inches (83 cm). Excited also because at that time, I thought that 33 inches was my natural maximum length, I am happy to see that I was wrong

I showed SO that my hair reaches my belly button. He laughs and shakes his head “it reaches when you are looking down in the mirror”. :rofl: so that’s my mini milestone. I’ll take it.
