I think I will reach a mini milestone in the next month or two.

With my hair up I have a few tendrils that come lose around my face.

But I kinda like them! They soften the look of my hair being up.

When they no longer come loose it will be a mini milestone. I will be sad to see them go but will also welcome the sign that my hair is growing.

This is exactly my situation! I’m loving the ease of a single claw clip to put my hair up. There are a few escapees but soon it will all go up. Then I know, from there, it will be a breeze to grow longer. Happy days.

I don't need to use bobbie pins any more- all my hair is contained when swept straight back in a mid/low ponytail.

I'll still use them if I want to adjust the position of my ponytail, or do a side part though.

My mini milestone sounds silly, but I'm thrilled! :-D I can reach my arm to my back and easily feel the ends of my hair now! It was 21" after I last donated in December and now it's 26"! WOO!

This might be a bit arbitrary, but my hair feels undeniably long now. No "is it or is it not long" anymore, Just long and it's amazing!

This week I mastered my first hair stick bun that holds, and just yesterday a coworker commented that my hair must be getting long for me to pin it up that way. (I'd spent the previous 6+ years at this job with ear-length or shorter hair, and I've never worn it down at work post-quarantine so she hasn't been witness to the growing process.) My mom made a similar comment a few days ago after I let my hair down. It's nice to have these mini-milestones because with the way it still flips up at the ends it feels like it's not growing at all!

I had my hair down at work because it’s wash day and it was drying. I went to eat lunch at the picnic table outside and as I was leaning over for my food, I had to move my hair from being pinched between my body and the tabletop because it is now past picnic tabletop length.
