What brought you to TLHC?

I've lurked in some aspect or another for a while. Since I already have long hair, I'm always trying to figure out what to do with it. Google always brought me back. I finally figured it was time to register.

Cheese. I got here by way of a religious forum where I lurked. I was told this board was full of heathens. I have stayed here, and left there.

As a child I knew a boy at school (I suppose when I was between 8 and 11 years old) who called me a heathen for being an atheist (both my parents are agnostic). I argued with him, insisting that heathens were people who believed in multiple gods, which was obviously wrong because I don't believe in any, but he persisted. I assume his views were probably identical with his parents' views, i.e. they were wrong too!

I had just gotten married and had a few people say, aren't you going to cut your hair now that the wedding is over? I was determined to ignore their comments and was searching on ways to keep my hair healthy while growing. The rest is history!

I came because I wanted a change in atmosphere from another hair site (that I will not mention). I like the vibe I get from this site and Im learning new things everyday!
