circumference of your pony tail??

When I do mine, it is compressed as much as it can be. Not sure why everyone wouldn't be doing that.

Mine will vary greatly whether I wear it more straight, or I let the waves/curls come out when I completely let it air dry.

Those of you with very straight hair, don't feel badly if your measurement is less than those with a lot more waves and curls.

My ponytail measure in at 3.5-3.75 inches, but I can't get all my hair into the pony tail yet! I think it'll be more once my hair grows out some more and I can add my "bangs" and the bald patched on top finish filling in and get long again too!

It seems to me that it should be tight. At least that's the way I've always done it.

I have fine, straight hair so my pony tail really isn't all that thick.

My current ponytail diameter is 3.5 in (9 cm, more or less, measured tight), which is a bit more than last year (yay!!), because now I'm taking proper care of my fine hair, I suppose. So thanks, LHC

Wow, I've just seen that 10 cm is the starting point for 'thick' hair according to the 'How thick is 'thick'?' thread...That actually makes my 'unbearably-not-thick-enough hair' very close to ii/iii! Who would have thought it?
