Couldn't find another thread for hair fork lovers & recently bought some second hand, which is imo a great option if you don't want to spend too much but get some nice ones.

They are however tiny, almost too small for my bsl hair, I didn't think they would dissapear completely into a bun.

    That's my favorite too.
I wish they would be a little bit longer, I'm really struggeling to get a bun to stay secure for longer. I love how glass-like smooth they are, but right now it's a problem.
I think the issue will resolve itself when my hair gets longer, so I can make actual loops for the forks to hold on to, but for now I'll most likely use one of the green ones on the top and put the tiny red one in from the opposite direction.

I still like reading about them and seeing pictures of all the different types. The designs can be so exquisite!
LOL this thread has way less replies than I’d expect judging from other long hairs’ forked bun photos.
I still haven’t got one fork, the closest one is a big U-pin which I graduated from. I can do almost all hairstyles with one single stick as well. But we shall see what will happen in the future. Maybe I will become a fork fanatic?

Is your hair super slippery? I find that with mine, I'm more of a fork fan because they are more secure for me.

Only on the first three days after my shampoo. I have to oil my hair every day to keep it greasy and grippy and sleek for my buns.

Got 3 super pretty new additions to my collection.

The first 2 are made from resin I think and I broke one on the first try, it's not the same material as acrylic sticks.

They're really gorgeous - especially close up, I need to get some more detailed pictures on the marbled color & glitter mix.

Those are all gorgeous! Yevhenia, Sodawood, and Steinimbrett if I'm not mistaken? Very disappointing that the resin fork broke though.
