My husband or I S&D. He cuts his own hair as well.
I self-trim.
My SO/family member/friend trims my hair.
I go to a salon.
I don't trim my hair, I just cover it in cheese!
Either my uncle who is a licensed hairdresser and works at an upscale salon, or most recently my best friend got her license so I let her practice on me

My mom will dust my ends but for anything more I go to a salon and have a wonderful hairdresser. I went in last month and was feeling really frustrated with my dry, thin and damaged ends and told her to cut off as much as she felt it needed. I was prepared for her to take off about 4" (10cm) which I gave her permission to do but she only took 2". She knows how long I've been trying to grow my hair and said that 2" was plenty and it's not as damaged or thin as I think. She also said that if I felt like I wanted more off to stop by and she would trim it again at no charge. She's truly the best stylist I've ever had!

Me, myself and I! I've come so far on this transformative hair journey, there's no way I'm letting someone else possibly ruin it . Especially after all the salon disasters I've gone through. Mega disasters.
I self trim and think it gets easier as my hair gets longer.
I pray for inner peace, family peace, world peace...Imagine whirled peas
Opted out of the friends program, nothing personal
I trim my hair myself because once per month and for one centimeter, it would cost a lot
One meter reached in June 2021. Cut it to waist and now I'm at 92 cm at the beginning of the butt.
I guess most people trim their own hair…but that makes sense to me.
I went to a salon a few times but it didn't seem like they did anything special. I guess deep inside I expected unicorns and rainbows, but I got a trim and they did nothing about spit ends (I use the “section and bend it around my fingers and comb it method to get rid of them” now). I was pretty shocked and disappointed. I stopped going to professionals when I asked for the usual demi-permanent color and the lady said it won’t work so I let her do the permanent color she wanted and it gave my hair the texture of hay…and that is one of my miserable salon experiences.
It seems to be cheaper and more satisfying to do it myself now
I usually self trim. But I have an aunt who used to be a hair stylist so if I see her and my hair is due, I'll have her trim it because she does a good job.
Cut 12 inches back to BSL and donated it. Now just doing whatever I feel like. Won't be going any shorter than BSL.
self-trim, I haven't had anyone cut my hair in 7 years, I'm just too worried about them over cutting.
