I split the difference and went with 6 1/4", which will be the longest stick I have. A friend of mine commented that getting a stick inlaid with pearls and gold leaf is so "luxe" and now I can't stop internally giggling about it.

That sounds so cute, Stray_mind. I have a Chloe TT and I love it. Mine is a "Petite Chloe" with Gabon Ebony Inlaid with Abalone Shells, Mint Green Fresh Water Pearls and Silver. It is my one and only TT so it used to get plenty of love and wear. I am needing a little more length in order to start wearing it again. It is a great incentive to keep me growing.

TT hairsticks are "works of art" in my opinion. I have yet to see one that I didn't like.
