Hey yall!! I am SO incredibly excited

))))) This is going to be the month where I just about reach classic. I'm so happy and I feel really good about getting to my first major milestone, any suggestions on how to celebrate??? Getting that wide tooth comb sounds like a good idea to me but I feel like doing something more to celebrate bcs I'm just that happy about it. I'm going to move out of this thread around the last two weeks of this month

YAY! The wise tooth comb sounds like a wonderful idea, why not? But also, I think you should do anything you want to do, even if it's not necessarily hair related!

Also, maybe some really nice artistic length shots? I think that classic length is arguably one of the biggest hair milestones and it's definitely worth documenting in a special way.

hehe thank you SO much for the sweet enthusiasm!! Perhaps some pretty high quality pictures under the sun with freshly washed hair? I have to brainstorm this a little bit

Update: I think I want to give myself princess treatment. Not just for this month, but it would probably be good to introduce those habits now when I already feel so good about this. Buy herbal/floral teas to use as a rinse, care for my skin better, complement my hair out loud while caring for it, etc.

I'm so sorry to disappoint T-T I'm a hijabi so I can't post pictures of my hair. Your enthusiasm is so sweet and I appreciate it more than anything, though, and I'm so grateful for it.

I guess I belong here. I have been trying to go TB to classic off an on for years but I keep trimming back for damage or other reasons. I'm focusing on the health of my hair so my journey will be very slow.

Hello! I'm just going to (try) to commit to a couple of new habits, on my way to Classic length.
I won't try to aim for anything drastic because I know I won't do it. hahaha. I don't think I'll stop tying my hair up and ignoring it anytime soon.

1. every morning before or after showering, put oil on the very ends of my hair
2. every SUNDAY morning, wet the very ends of my hair slightly, then apply the oil
3. Make sure to take pictures/video of my hair at least once per year, like around New Years' Day

Those should be doable! I think it'll take about 2 years to reach classic length, so here we go.

Ooohhh congratulations!

How exciting! I think perhaps a fancy new hair toy might be in order?? Giving your hair the princess treatment is lovely, too!
