    ^^^. Very pretty.

So, I’m fiddle farting around with buns tonight. This is a kind of upside down Chinese bun thing. The moon is like 80 percent captured inside behind the ponytailed hair to start, barely the tips show when I started bunning. This helps it not flip down. Have no clue if this bun would stay put for long but I’ll try it. Just did it so who knows. Used a spin pin on one side to secure the loose wraps a bit.

I know I’m reviving a really old thread, but I dug out my old moon. About 5 years ago I lost a lot of hair and started working in a job where I couldn’t wear my hair toys, but I recently got a new job and have been digging out all my old toys again.
Its an Ash and Purpleheart original Ravenscroft, and I can barely believe I bought it 10 years ago now. The purpleheart is barely purple any more, and I had to do quite a bit of playing to remember which buns it didn’t twist too much in (especially since my hair is still a lot thinner than it was), but I love it

I do also have a clear acrylic one from Larks that’s a couple years newer, but it doesn’t stay in my hair so well.
