I just started using black seed oil about a month ago. I add it into coconut oil and mustard oil for a hot oil treatment a few times a week. I haven't noticed a huge difference in my hair from it, but I do seem to be shedding less and my hair is growing a bit faster than normal for this time of year. It will be cool to check back at a later date and see if people have had more dramatic results from it.

I too have started using Kalonji oil mixed with castor oil mustard and coconut oil and peppermint EO.. Fingers crossed this works to improve my hair.

Is it safe to use black seed oil undiluted on the scalp?

I think that might have more to do with how sensitive your scalp is. I have heard of people using it neat on the scalp, but most often when I read about or watch youtube videos on how to use it, they say to use it more like an essential oil because it's a really strong oil. Because of this, I've only ever used it diluted.

Thanks for clearing that up! I used it on my scalp once with no other oils and it felt just like any other oil on the scalp. However, I will mix it next time just to be sure!

That's how I use it, I wont mix it unless i'm applying castor oil to my scalp but thats just cuz castor oil is so thick i need something to thin it out abit.

There's a recipe of lemon juice mixed with black seed oil that's supposed to help with hair loss. I did it a couple of times but I never stuck to it since I don't like applying anything to my scalp after washing.

I actually bought this a couple of months ago and haven't used it yet, I'm definitely going to give it a try , I'll mix it with coconut oil. Does it only go on your scalp?
