Fru fru, no, the matte gold isn't the same as the base of the other clips. To me, the matte gold looks like 10k gold. In addition to being shiny instead of matte, the base of the others look more like 14k gold.

Hi pastina - I got my clips at frenchtwist.ca (make sure it's .ca, the .com site is an American band's site). Ficcare charges like a wounded bull for postage if you're not in the US, French twist was offering free postage on orders over $100.

As for which one - up to you.

Ooooh. Ahhhhhh. I briefly had one of the new opals and the color just didn't work on me. But on you, Fru Fru, it's SCRUMPTUOUS. (And I'm completely lovin' the wall art in the background, too!)
