No they changed that. I was able to choose Germany as shipping country. The wrote on their facebook page about the worldwide Shipping. Like I said the currancy rate should compensate the taxes for import. As it is under 150 € No additional taxes will occour.

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone, on my new green silky! I was lucky enough to receive this as a Christmas gift and it was a total surprise! The silky enamel is so beautiful because it is thinner on the edges - it totally looks like a little gold border surrounding the green.

Great idea Chen! I have all mine on a hanger but I believe I will make some little cozies for them or something to store them in. I don't travel much but when I do I like to make sure my clips are well protected.

I've been meaning to post this picture for the past week, and here it finally is:

    The image is clickable.

I wanted to compare the older Opal Jewel with the new Opal Silky

The Jewel is on the bottom, Silky on the top. As to how they compare with the lotus jewel opal, the new silky seems to be a closer color match, although the older jewel opal is not that far off.

Oh thanks for the comparison! I actually prefer the more greener version. The older one does look more unique and more towards a babyish blue though. As for the green silky, I just wasn't sure about it kind of like the border jade.

Wow, those look nearly identical. I can see a slight difference in the shade, but other than that they look almost the same. Are you going to keep both?

Probably not. I I'll keep the older one since the color is a bit different. I don't see why I need two the same color!

Wow, Islandgrrl... I took a look at your collection and it is fabulous. I love how your Ficcares are displayed! And how awesome that you can choose one that suits your mood so easily. Really cool!

I find I like the new opal better. To me it's a very soothing and yet rich color.

People who own the new acetate designs, do you like the way it holds?

For me I feel like I love the new designs, but I feel a little dissaponted with how they grip. To me it feels light and not as tight gripping as say a border maximas piece or anything from the old collection. There is probably why they are considerably cheaper than the enamel but... I know Ficcare likes to claim they haven't change the springs but why is it that I notice a big difference in how they hold my updos. It could be just me, but I love the new designs and I have at least three more I'd like to get but I'm just a little put off because I don't like how loose of a grip these new acetates feel. It's a shame cause I want to get an onyx, giraffe and the glittery stripe. I may just have to stick to the new silkies and classical since I notice it comes close to
the kind of grip I am looking for or used to having.
