How many times do you brush or comb your hair daily?

Usually I untangle it if I don't have time to properly take care of it, which is most of the time

Anyone else that had short hair for a long time in their life finds it difficult to pick up the habit?

I put none because there was no choice for 5 or less, and I thought we were talking sessions not strokes.

That is also what I thought and voted. If we are talking strokes I believe (cause I don't count when I do it) its around 20 or less per session.

I comb my hair a few times a day, but less than 10. I sometimes feel like it's an obsession to comb my hair, but if people are combing it 50 times a day, I dont feel so bad!

I generally brush my hair a lot... I've been working on new hairstyles and get way too many knots in the process. Especially when I'm practicing different braids, lol.

Well, many days I just take it out of my sleepcap and put it into a bun without combing first, but other times I will comb it, so I voted for 5 - 10 times because I think it would average out to about that.

I usually only comb it in the morning before putting it up, and that takes maybe 5-7 comb-throughs.

When conditioning, I comb it but only about 3 times.

unless its styled I brush constantly I even have a brush in the car if I get bored while driving...

Just a couple of strokes before styling it. I don't usually brush it before bed, I just finger comb it and braid it. If I wear it down, I find myself brushing it more frequently.
