I agree with Liz. Also, keep in mind that repeated applications will build up, making your hair look darker. So the shade that you have after 20 applications won't be the same as the shade after a single application.

The only way around that is to do roots-only applications after the first full application.

This is the brightest I could get it (usually it looks darker)
