When I joined LHC I had a very realistic goal of hip…then tailbone…now I’m like, if I shoot for Classic I’ll end up with really nice hair anyway so I might as well go for that.

You find yourself scouring your house to find objects that can be used as mini hairsticks because you want to wear space buns, but you want them to be nautilus buns...

(the answer ended up being yarn needles trying this style out later!!)

I never would have thought of doing nautilus space buns. Now I have a new goal to try to do!

My braid once attacked me when I used the toilet (the traditional one where I have to squat). My thigh actually bruised. From then on, I always keep my hair above my shoulders when I use the facilities. If I don’t have a bun, I either wrap it around my neck or contain it with my bra strap.

When my hair isn't bunned I toss it over my shoulder, particularly at night, I twist it gently, and wrap it in the bottom of my shirt, then fold my shirt over my torso to keep everything contained.

I finally had the thought "my hair is made of keratin, but so are my nails..." and now I put a drop of oil on my cuticles whenever I rub oil into my ends. At night I "condition" by sealing the oil in with aquaphor. My nails are looking better than usual, especially considering the double blow of winter + being a compulsive hand washer.

It makes such a difference!! Instead of picking at my cuticles or trying to push back dry cuticles and making them all kinds of ragged, I just oil them.
Now I'm wondering how it took me this long to figure out the solution

It really does! I love to do a good layering on my hands too. A little oil, some lotion on top.
