When the only time you EVER touch a hairdryer is to dry something completely non hair-related. (A solar shower that stubbornly refused to fully dry out above the heater.)
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
I got a hairdryer for Wet Hair Emergencies because I cannot go out with wet hair, hard stop, and when I bought it, the reviews had folks complaining that it didn't blow hot enough air--I said "PERFECT!" and bought it

I'm jealous of all of you that just air dry every time, it gives me a lot of discomfort if the temperature in my room isn't warm enough. I find it very uncomfortable for the amount of time it needs and I also get cold.
I use an hairdryer, low speed and medium heat, for 10 minutes (after being in my microfiber towel for 30 minutes). I keep it as far as I can and I use a diffuser. After that my hair still needs a good couple of hours to fully dry, if not more.
You know you're a long hair when...you put on your shirt and someone tells you your hair is hanging out of your sleeve!

By my latest count my hair takes at least 8 hours to dry after being toweled, and I live in a very dry climate. I can't imagine how awful it would be somewhere more humid.
Most days I use a floor fan pointed at my back from across the room. Gets me down to about 2-3 hours.
