I in fact didn’t realize there was no way to return as a member once you delete your account. I guess I‘ll take a break and think about it for a minute.
Thank you, MusicalSpoons and lapushka, that’s very sweet of you guys <3
I spent a long time an energy on my first BLOG TO BE ,which is no mean feat for me with my many health problems, I sacrificed much to put the time and energy on the blog and...it did not post.
After I had finished it,it came up with the wording that I had no right to post it, and the login in screen came up again (I was already logged in) ,so I entered my username and password and the blog page came up empty,no blog post........nothing!!!! Just the page and the warning that is always there ,telling you to go and read the rules before posting.
As a new member I had been reading through Forum posts and replying and stuff and when too long on a page when I go to reply it tells me I have no right and to enter username and password,Again!!! even though I am already logged in,but I enter the data and luckily every time the reply I was about to post was still there and I just had to press publish/reply.
But TODAY WITH MY FIRST BLOG ENTRY (one of the main reasons for me to be here, finding blogs I like and to post my own) the extreme security thing with entering username and password again cos I spent a long time on my blog was DEVASTATING.
I am aware there are minors here and I am a polite person ,there was nothing offensive or rude in the blog it was just titled A LONG HAIRED TOMBOY.
I have many health issues and my time and energy are extremely precious and I cannot afford to waste them.
I am not entirely sure why it happened but I can never recover the time or energy I spent on it again.
I wasn't sure if I would fit in or whether anyone (with time and all that) would enjoy reading my blogs but I wanted to "give it a bash".
I understand and respect many of the rules here and I understand most of the why's but I think my own Blog somewhere will be better for me.
PLESE DELETE MY ACCOUNT.

I'm no mod nor admin but that sounds like a technical issue rather than a permissions issue to me. Have you checked the 'remember me' box when you log in?
I sympathise as I too have very limited energy (physical and mental). There are quite a few of us hereI always try to remember to select all and copy before pressing post - on any webpage, even Twitter - on anything that's taken me more than a few minutes to compose in case it gets lost!
Regardless of what you decide, whether to keep or delete your account, it was nice to see another longhair from the UK in the time you've been here![]()

Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
I was coming to say much the same thing. I’m sorry it’s been upsetting for you Gia11.
I’ve copied this from one of the stickies on the New Start Here bit of the forum:
When you sign in there should be a box which says "Remember Me". Make sure that box is checked when you sign in.
It puts a "cookie" in your web browser to serve as an "I'm signed in!" indicator. Every now and then the forum checks for it. If it doesn't see it then it will sign you out, otherwise you stay signed in.
Your web browser must accept cookies for this to work. Most of them do by default.
If your device accepts cookies and you have checked "Remember Me" and still get logged out, you may need to remove your existing cookies and log in fresh to get a new set of functional cookies.
As the others have said it sounds like you have a cookie issue. Either you didn't have 'remember me' checked, or a cookie in your browser isn't working correctly. If checking 'remember me' doesn't solve the problem you will need to delete all LHC cookies and log in again (with 'remember me' checked) to get new cookies.

Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*
Thanks a lot for your reply,it's much appreciated.
First of all this is the first time in my life to join a forum which possibly explains something.
To be honest I am not entirely certain I wish to leave as I have just joined. I would also not have made this issue public but I don't have a yahoo or google mail to contact admin directly.
The thing that made upset & wish to leave is that I had been having this issue since the first day & I kind of assumed that this was some timeout rule from this forum/a security thing.
I was thinking if I have to face this issue every time , it isn't good for me so better leave.
NOPE I had not checked the box as I thought that was for remembering me next time I logged in after having logged off... if that makes any sense.I am going to try that and see what happens.
I'll have to test your advice and I see that it sorts my problem. Then I'll see where I go from there.
Thanks for your understanding![]()
