Now 2700km south of the neverending summery heat of Cairns (four days on the outback roads) in northern Victoria across the river from a town full of cows that formed from a sheep station.



It's kinda like a homecoming living in a river district that's linked to where I grew up to the west of here in country SA. I'm even enjoying the fresh, crisp winter air and spindly, snoozing landscape that's getting ready to bloom very soon.
