    Default Crazy Summer Hair!

I'm a newbie with I have armpit length hair. I would like it to be much longer, but lately its been driving me nuts! It gets really static, and wavy,it looks messy and tangles easily. My hair is a little thin but I don't know what to use to make it behave. Are there any methods you girls use in the warmer weather to tame your tresses? Thank you.

Have you tried smoothing a drop or two of coconut oil over your dry hair? That will help with static and flyaways.

New here too! When I oil my hair, I get zero tangles. Normally I have VERY tangly hair and static problems as well. Just don't use too much or you'll look like you haven't showered in days.

Do a messy bun and use a cloth headband to take care of the wispies.

Or do a slightly neater bun and still use the headband.

Aloe vera gel is also good at giving wispies a little weight. I use it for the shorter hair around my face where I want to avoid oiliness.

Also check out Kimberlily's defrizz spray recipe.

I swear by oiling and CWCing whenever I wash.

After I wash my hair, I use a wide-toothed comb (thanks LHC) to smooth it down, roll it in a french twist type (or more recently, bun, since its too long to twist up and fit into a clip) and clip it.
I let my hair air dry that way because otherwise, I have "beach hair" every day.

Actually, I couldn't find a clip about an hour ago and its so hot, my hair dried all crazy.

    I outta upload a picture...

That's the problem I used to have with heavy oils. I can only use light ones like Camellia or Squalane.
