What hair styles can you not stand?

* I don't know the difference between clean and dirty dreads, but I just don't like them.

I'm not a fan of any kind of dreads. It just isn't appealing to me. I don't like styles that involved shaving or buzzing. I'm think of inverted bobs with a shaved/buzzed nape on women or high 'n tights on men. What else? Mullets, obviously permed hair, bleached to platinum blonde too.

I choose dreads and other. I really do not understand Hockeyfrilla. I do not know what it is called in english, but the hair on top of the head is short, and the other hair is long hanging down the back.

Overly bleached flat ironed plastic looking hair *shivers*, and I also hate the over volumed hair, when it's like back combed from the start of the bangs.

I don't really care about what people are wearing. While I wouldn't have most of these on myself, on others, that's their choice. They look quite interesting most times.

Other (cheese??) - I've admired, on different people, all of those styles (even a girl I once knew who sported a mohawk). I think it depends on the person and how they come across. If I hate the hairstyle, it's probably something I don't like about the person who's wearing it, or how they're wearing it... not necessarily the style itself.

While I generally don't care what someone does with their hair, from an objective critical standpoint I thought the following were almost always not something that improved the look for the wearer.

I voted for

• Dirty dreads
• Patterns (I love bright colors, but the patterns never seem to look right and just turn out muddy)
• Over Volumed hair-
• Teased-Crimped (This is probably a by-product of growing up in the '80s

I'm sure this would be a "pattern" but it's considered fashionable, so I wasn't sure it it should be lumped in with the bright colors or not- I'm not sure what the name is, but the hair where it's bleached white blonde on top and then dyed black or dark red on the bottom. In magazines it sometimes manages to look okay, but every live human I've seen with it just looks terrible.

The dark under part invariably looks thin and tattered and the top fried.

I agree with all of your choices too. I forgot to vote "other" in the poll. A mullet is not an attractive style on anyone, IMO. Angled bobs drive me crazy. I could never have my hair longer in front; I'd be cutting the long sections off myself. And I really hate bleached hair/dark roots. It looks gross and dirty.
