At the beach? Like literally 5 minutes after getting out of the water

I suppose it takes around 3h but it needs to be loose. Braid will never dry even when it's barely damp.

I just wrote about this on another thread *smilies* I washed my hair at about 8pm last night and then put it in a microfiber turban for five minutes and then put it on a towel over my pillow. It's still damp this morning and it's 8:29am. So it's been about 12 hours. My hair is 2aFii and it's calf length now.

It seems to go faster in the daytime for some reason...maybe because I'm moving around and aerating it?

In braids it can take up to 48 hours, so I do try to towel dry as much as I can before bunning or braiding.
I've been having to modify my air drying process because a single english braid this time of year is still wet in the middlenafter three whole days.

My hair dries SO quickly at the beach. I think the salt+sun+wind is the winning combo. 20 mins and it's almost TOO dry haha.

Most of it takes about two to three hours, but the end six inches which is sparser and dye damaged takes - honestly - five minutes!

24 hours later, even if I wear it loose and keep air moving through it, my hair will still be damp. 36 hours later, my hair will still be damp. If I neglect it and keep my wet hair up in a bun constantly, it will stay damp until I wash it again three days later. I have to blow-dry my scalp and hair after every wash to prevent mildew and fungal infections.
