Rosenester ohh thanks for mentioning washing the bangs in between, why didn’t I think of that. I used to do that last time a had bangs just because I was to cheap to buy dry shampoo. Now I’m lazy and use dry shampoo unless the bangs need to be restyled.

Sometimes when I do this “bangs only wash”, I actually pull a few longer strands from the crown, like about 2 curl clump sizes, and wash those as well to bring back a little brightness for the hairs over the top when I bun. I found I can go 5 days without washing my whole scalp this way. Otherwise I am tempted to wash everyday 2nd or 3rd! It’s so different from when I was bleaching my roots as soon I grew 3/4”-1”. Both my scalp and hair just didn’t need shampoo for sometimes 3 weeks. The brightness of the blonde didn’t really get darker, maybe just yellowed a bit.

I am rocking dark looking greasy bangs today since I plan to hide in my house catching up on chores all day!
