So this might not be the approved way of measuring, but because I didn't want to have to ask someone else for help, I measured from my front hairline by pulling it down in front of my face. Right now I mainly want to compare my measurements to each other so I don't think the method matters as much as long as it's consistent.

Haven’t trimmed my hair since before the pandemic, decided to jump in here.
    2022-8-2 92cm
I was a bit upset that last week my hair was measured 93cm and I even triple-checked it, though it is very possible that the longest strand shed as part of my natural growing cycle, this is the problem with having a fairytail. Only a couple racers down there.
I also have another measure standard, split my hair into two parts and measure from earlobe down.
    Left:62cm
    Right: 62.5cm

The seeming increase in growth this month I can only attribute to getting a more accurate measurement by having someone else do it for me. 71" is where the racers fall, so it is technically my length, but it definitely doesn't feel like I'm only 0.75" from Floor. The ends flip out from being bunned, so I suppose I could be there in two months time without even realizing. I'll measure in October to see if this is the case... and it means I actually could be at Floor by my birthday, if only by a few hairs

    Left:62cm
    Right: 62.5cm
    2022-9-1 93.5cm
    Left earlobe down: 63.5cm
    Right earlobe down: 63cm
(as I don't have a comb, I didn't evenly split my hair in the middle, just randomly gathered from both sides)
    High pony circumference 10cm
    Low pony circumference 9cm
(I used a sewing thread and tied two knots tightly on the base of the pony, then pull it down to measure, this way it's more accurate than using a measuring tape that could accidently count the multiple coils of hair tie in as well.)
It's obvious I have way more new growth near my nape than around my hairline now. And they are generally thicker than the baby hairs. I need two hair clips to hold them up when I do cardio workout, or it's unbearably annoying around my neck. Give them some months and they will probably be caught by my high bun.

My racers really grow way faster than my average hairs.
