It’s official, I’m now 97cm, 2cm longer than I was on October 2nd. I can’t believe my eyes, 2cm of hair growth in a month, a cool month (my average was 1.5cm in a hot/warm month)
What’s more surprising is that even though I have been shedding slightly more hair since early September than I did in summer, on top of the mechanical damage I caused by taking part in the ABC Bun challenge where I redid my hair 4-5 times a day, causing inevitable shed and breakage, my high ponytail circumference is now 10.5cm (+0.5cm) and low ponytail is 9.6cm (+0.6cm).

This month, I had an outlier in length. Not sure if I had a growth spurt or what. I've been consistently 1/2" a month on the LHC method since I started recording it in March. My bangs measurement didn't jump, so I'm not sure why my overall bulk length jumped as I measured it a ton more than usual just to make sure I wasn't gathering erroneous data.

Last 3 months:
31 Aug = Bangs - 16", LHC method - 26.5"
30 Sep = Bangs - 16.5" LHC method - 27"
31 Oct = Bangs - 17" LHC method - 28"

I'm not sure why my hairs growth rate varies so much over time. I try to measure my hair on the 20th of every month, hoping to reach 33" before the end of the year so I start 2023 off with HL! I have been doing S&D 2x a month. No trims until spring of 2023.

Definitely going to hit BSL before the end of the year, the tips are at the middle of my band but I'll be calling it once it reaches the bottom

It is the 20th once again! Time for a monthly measure.

11/20: 32.75"

Just one quarter inch away from HL aghhhh! My boyfriend measures my hair and I guess my longest racer is a bit past 33". I want to call it but the bulk of the rest of my ends will solidly reach HL by Christmas. Then I will have met my goal

December 4th fell on Sunday so I decided to take my monthly measurements after my long-waited shampoo day. (It’s been six weeks since I last shampooed.) And of course I shed a lot of hair this month due to the pressure, sleep deprivation, poor diet from the 6th hospitalization with my dad fighting his cancer with immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
I only gained 1cm to 98cm this last month, and my pony circumference dropped 0.2cm, so sad.
I hope I can reach 100cm by Chinese New Year because I don’t think I can hit that mark by January 1st at this rate.
I will treat myself better in December.
