Just starting up here, too! I have no idea how much my hair grows each month, and I'm eager to find out. Most recent trim was August 2008.

Ummm, does hacking off 3" with the grooming equipment count? Yep, did it again last week. Although it was the hair or jerking a little arthritic peke around, so the hair lost..hair grows back, hips are hard to replace...I'm now at 27"

After not measuring frequently and just measuring the trimmed amount (ca. 1cm every other month). I decided to maintain at fingertip to thicken up my hemline. I´m planning to trim off all growth for a while. So I need to find out how much new growth is going on there exactly. Which means I´ll have to start measuring again and then I can share my data as well.
So here I am.

Plan:
Trim off all growth on every first wash day in odd numbered months, maintaining length is fingertip (119cm / 46inch).
Date and amount of trim to get back to 46inch:
2008.09 / -1inch
