I'm curious about my end-of-year measurement, so I'm going to measure one last time in 2014 to give me a starting point for 2015. <goes to get tape measure> Looks like I shrunk to 84 cm. I knew I shouldn't have looked.

    4/30/2014 - 24"
    5/31/2014 - 24 1/2"

    9/30/2014 - 26 1/2"
    10/31/2014 - 26 1/2" (micro-trim)
    11/30/2014 - 27" (added kukuí nut oil)

I basically spent the entire year paying for my hairdresser's huge mistake.

Fire the hairdresser. Get an SO, friend or family member that supports your hairgrowth to dust you. Run screaming away from hairdressers.

It's a New Year and new growth. For a micro trim, 1/2 centimeter, not inch will do miracles. I too am a finie with fragile hair. Hubby does my dusting.

I remeasured after washing and blowdrying my hair (on cool) and it was really 86 cm. That was a relief to see I hadn't shrunk after all.

Next trim is scheduled for March 1st. My ends are lovely, not dry and splitting like they used to be. I'm planning on cutting racers, and then trimming 5 mm into my hem. Not checking length again until my trim day.

Ugh forgot to measure my hair in the end of the year... But I'm probably going to get a trim pretty soon so I'll just mark down my measurements now. After that I'm going to wait and trim again during or after summer.
