Thank you, Glitch, and sorry I didn't find your comment earlier. Yes, I think it was a good move to cover my henna with it, it has evened out my demarcation line and it hasn't faded that fast, I don't think my hair is that red anymore. I was very anxious to do something to my henna red. I'm trying to go back to my natural hair colour. Although I still don't know if I'll like it.

Was struggling with indigo for a few months but I've gotten it to where I like now.

Turns out my hair prefers 2 step application (ashy blonde, plus my roots are very smooth).
From my last application on March 26th:
    The day after...

And yesterday. A little over a week and 2 shampoos. 2 different lightings...

To get this colour and saturation, I leave henna on for 3 hours. I usually use Amla but forgot this last time. Oops. I then leave indigo mix for 45 minutes.
I did an initial shampoo with clarifying shampoo before the henna, then did only water rinse for both henna and indigo. Waited 5 days for the first shampoo.
Looks great, I love the colour

I'm going to bump this up so I can find it again. I have messed a bit with hendigo the last year and now am trying to darken roots where I was going to grow out blonde (don't ask). I have naturally level 6 hair with about 5% gray. I think I will settle on a 50/50 h:i plus about 2 T amma growing out. I have a busy weekend but will post pics as soon as I can.
